Description

Mo Iya (JPN)

"Mo or MoMo"
2014 Bay Sabino Thoroughbred Stallion
(Ee aa nSb) | 16.2 hh

History

MoMo is a gentle soul, he doesn't care to start a fight, and he does his best not to get in trouble. However, if he is attacked or if he is treated poorly he has no problems ending a fight. On the track as a 2YO he was given the reputation of a savage, but in truth there was only one time where he actually attempted to savage any horse and it was the first and last time that his jockey ever used a whip on him.

Temperament

Mo was labeled a vicious horse early in his career because there was an instance with a previous jockey and his whip that caused him to attack another horse and eventually unseat his rider. Immediately after that he was put on a different jockey, and a whip was never seen around him again. Outside of that he's competitive in nature, but fine with his people.

Conformation

MoMo is a rocket, he's got fine lines and a sporty build. With solid bone and a very slow maturing body he didn't look "finished" until his 4yo season when he finally started to fill out and showcase his power and prowess.
