Story:
It was a cool crisp morning in Kentucky when the field for the 2015 JC Breeders Cup Mile was loaded into the gate, Cecily had already been having a hard time with Jagger today but as the bell rang and the gates opened it seemed like all the extra energy he'd had throughout the day came out in one fell swoop. He charged forward tearing into the turf deeply and using it to propel himself forward. The track was fast today and Cecily knew that was a good thing for Jaggy boy. She kept him off the pace in the beginning of the race, it was a mile after all, and she wanted him to save some energy, though it was a struggle because he wanted to run. Keeping him well tucked back she watched as Harley guided Triton towards the front, knowing that Colton was going to be focused on keeping Nichi in reserve as well she waited until she saw the 2nd furlong pole and gave him a good flick of the reins. After that it was all Jagger, he took off like a locomotive after Beau, a competitor he'd seen often in races around here. He still had a lot of ground to make up but Cecily was confident after the display he'd shown all day that he'd be able to do it!
