Waylon had sent Striker to Argentina as well, knowing that Striker had always been a bit easier to train he'd held back on the colt some to work on Roller more. Today he was watching as the two piece set of Roller and Striker headed towards the gate from the paddock. Roller was confident and bouncing, whereas Striker who normally stood shiny and bright looked...dull. He didn't have the spark he normally did and it looked like Cecily was trying to amp him up, she pulled away from her lead pony and urged the horse into a little warm up jog.

Striker did as he was bid but he kept his head down and didn't seem to enjoy what he was doing, she eased him to the side and sat back on the saddle, watching the other horses head up while speaking softly to the colt.

"Hey boy, what's going on?" Striker huffed and pawed at the dirt, "Upset you haven't run with Roller much?" There was another huff and she smiled before leaning forward and patting his neck. "Sweetie, she's going to be in the stall right next to you. You two are going to get a chance to run together again, we just wanted to give you a bit of a rest. Let's go see her huh?"

Striker was urged forward and he responded easily, though he was dragging his hooves some as he went. It wasn't until he was in the gate beside Roller and could really see her that he perked back up. She really was there! That was enough for him and he prepared himself to show off to his stablemate and hopefully blaze a trail in this race!
