Description
It was early morning and all of the horses had been turned out for some time to just be horses between training days. The two newest additions, Striker (front) and Roller (back) had to be together and they were turned out into one of the smaller paddocks to run around. It backed up to the treeline, and though they chased each other around a bit after a while they settled down and Striker started to groom Roller. The two were the same age and Waylon had to admit they were adorable out in the field together, even if their bond did make it harder on him from a training perspective. But if nothing else, they would make a fine pair around the farm. If Roller, who Waylon had doubts on as a racer, didn't turn out he planned to make her the lead pony for Striker so that the two would be inseparable on and off the track. But they were still young, and there was still time to make decisions about their future and to see what they both preferred to do.
