Story:
Two months ago Waylon had been approached about taking on one hell of a filly named Apollo, he'd admired her from a far. Loving the ferocity she showed on the track, even though she was pretty dangerous at times. She'd needed time to adjust and while she was getting used to FHF she was...a handful to say the least. Cecily had worked diligently with her until she was able to ride her, granted she never said she had good control over her.
But as time went on Cecily was able to at least get her to breeze well for her, so they all thought it was time to try her in a race. Having a few lightly raced horses they picked a good calm one and sent him off with Apollo to run in The Devil's Mile. Everything seemed to be going well as long as Cecily kept Apollo away from Throwa, but the moment they got together, all bets were off. They'd kept the muzzle on her as long as they could but she couldn't run with it, so they just hoped for the best and Cecily vowed to keep a tight lid on her.
She'd kept her tucked away and off from the pack as long as she could but at some point Cecily knew she'd have to make her move. And so she let Apollo run, guiding her meticulously through the pack. Hoping to just keep things clear so they'd have a nice safe run. But then they were well off when Cecily felt Apollo twist, turning her head she caught Throwa coming alongside them and she was already in the process of pulling Apollo back when the filly made to savage the stallion. "WHOA! APOLLO NO!" She pulled hard, throwing her body to the side to try and use her weight to pull the filly off.

Story:
Throwa had been with FHF for a little bit, and they were just starting to really get used to the handsome stallion. He had a fairly good racing record coming to them and they hoped to continue his success. After showing how easy he was to handle under saddle with Harley they entered in him a race with one of their newly leased horses and hoped for the best. Throwa trained well before hand and all they really wanted to see was how the two new horses handled in a race for the team under their current training.
Putting blinkers on they sent Throwa out and Harley felt like he had the stallion well in hand, moving nicely along and just hanging with the pack. That was until he heard the great beast that was the filly Apollo bellow as she twisted to savage Throwa. Tucking low and twisting he tried to guide the stallion away as Cecily worked to rein in Apollo. It was close but from Harley's point of view he couldn't see any damage on the horse though he did take him far wide just to stay away.
