Description
After his last workout before the Melbourne Cup, Jagger was getting a nice cooling bath. Colton was spraying him off in one of the washing stalls when he noticed the stallion staring off at the racetrack. "What is it Jags?"
Jagger didn't nicker a response like he normally did, just kept gazing out which led Colton to follow those eyes to see what it was that he was looking at exactly. And that's when he spotted his sister out with Triton, it was the first time anyone had been up on the horse since his injury early on in training. Things looked good from what Colton could see and he reached over to gently rub Jagger's neck.
"Happy to see your friend back on the track big guy?" There was a soft nicker as Jagger turned his head into Colton's hand, nibbling at his fingers gently. "You'll race together in a few days, as long as he checks out okay that is."
