a muddy problem. [BS]
Prince hated the spring- maybe not as much as he hated summer, but he still hated it none the less. It meant summer was on its way, things were getting warmer and well…with the snow melting that meant mud. The absolute worst thing in the universe other than heat if you asked him. Who even invented mud?
The long mane would have loved to meet them, just so he could kick their ass for thinking that was an acceptable thing to do. How could one retain their pristine noble image if they had to walk through mud? One step too deep and his beautiful paws were ruined and he would have to take a BATH. Ugh.
Baths meant water, lots of it, and it m

Bhadra stretched out on the rock she had claimed for sunning. She didn’t want to do much, just wanted to relax, to have some time in the sun while they had a warm day. It was pretty simple, wasn’t it? It seemed like a straightforward concept, fine enough for her. She preferred the simple things in life, it was too much to worry on more complicated matters wasn’t it? Honestly, no one could really blame her for being laid back- she was young still.
She had a lot of time ahead of her to be bolder, to be more mischievous. In the meantime, she looked to the older tokotas for examples. And she found she liked the more relaxed one
Sam wasn’t sure what a good idea going to the beach during winter was, but hey- you might find things. Interesting things. Like shiny rocks or something, she didn’t know- the humans liked shiny rocks didn’t they? She was more interested in maybe catching a fish, but hey…that was just her. Fish seemed nicer than shiny rocks, at least you could eat the fish- eating shiny rocks was no good, and a fast way to get a stomach ache.
She was focused more on getting food, and almost didn’t notice the sounds of splashing. It was cold out, who was actually in the water? The little black toki had been more hoping for a free
Sam took a deep breath, inhaling the scent of fall as it was fading away. Wow this was nice weather- not hot, just pleasantly cool with a bit of bite to the wind. She wagged her tail slightly as she wandered out, feeling leaves crunch under her feet. This was nice- being able to just explore the cold last days of fall. Winter would come soon, and then would be the time for bundling up.
Not that tokotas really needed to bundle up, her fluffy curly coat could keep her plenty warm through the winter months and she was prepared. Honestly, she couldn’t wait for it to start snowing- the snow would probably piss Baird off and that would be HI
The fall had finally arrived, the trees were turning red and gold and losing their leaves, and the air was getting colder. Which was, y’know, know of a problem for the less fluffy varieties of animal- sphinx tokotas especially. Which is why Madam Empire was regretting her decision to go out at all. The wind was blowing hard, cold, and she was FREEZING. FUCK THIS WAS HORRIBLE!
She shivered her way down the trail, sniffing a familiar but not scent left behind by SOMETHING, and watching curiously for any signs of danger. The trail led her on towards a part of the woods she hadn’t been in quite some time. It was still bitterly cold,
Samantha stood contemplatively at the top of the hill overlooking their free roam area. She held a large rabbit in her mouth- lunch for the day, caught in the woods not too far away. Carefully she plodded down the hill, wondering where the hell everyone was. Baird seemed to be missing, which was kind of disappointing. She had been planning on rubbing her catch in his face- maybe literally.
He might have screamed over it. That would have been funny.
Still, the quiet was nice too right? She found a good spot to settle down, and plonked her butt right in the grass, settling into a comfortable laying position to dig in. If nobody else was aroun

The big tokota wandered across the field curiously, looking for his next meal mostly. He had followed the scent of a deer out into the field, but now that he was there he appeared to have lost it. The trail didn’t stop so much as become confusing, because there was something else more interesting laying over it now. Another tokota. How odd to smell someone else out here like that.
With curiosity piqued, Icarus moved in the direction of the scent, snuffling at the ground as he walked, trying to keep up with it. He wasn’t going to lose this like he lost the deer!
In almost no time, mostly due to his long legs, he was carried to th
Today the gold curly named Chris was out for a lazy walk, exploring the territory near enough to home that nobody would worry. He wanted to see what the heck was out here, and it was a nice day. Not too cold, not too hot. It was nice, seeing the woods, the streams, everything was calm and cool despite the creeping summer's heat. Ugh he was so tired of the sticky!
Presently, he was out wading through a stream, the water up just above his ankles. It seemed peaceful, quiet. That was nice, he could appreciate it, the way you could hear nothing but birdsong, and the wind moving through the trees. Nobody could blame a tokota for wanting some peace

Being told to go out to exercise was something Bernadette was not unused to. It was a common occurrence, since they had the space to move, and the trust of their handler. It was definitely a good thing, and she was left satisfied with that.
Still, usually there were a lot more tokotas around, and for some reason, it was just her…and Sinatra. He was a nice tokota really, friendly, and pleasant to cuddle with if you got particularly cold, not that she’d know anything about that. She never got cold…totally.
The black curly waited for awhile, waited and waited and just looked for anyone else leaving the building they rested in

The sun was shining, and the wind blew softly across the field as the fluffy male walked through it. Fenchel was glad that the snow was slowly melting away, winter giving way to spring as the world warmed up. Not that it had gotten terribly cold to begin with. It was just warmer now than it had been.
Which was saying a lot when you considered that he was a fluffy long mane tokota. Honestly, he was warm ALL the time. It was impossible to be cold with several pounds of fluff on you.
He crossed the field calmly, snuffling at the ground as he sniffed out an interesting smell he'd detected. It smelled like another tokota. A lady tokota, which wa
