Don’t you love it when those new art supplies you ordered land on your doorstep in time for the weekend?
As a #WIP evolves, which mine are want to do, I inevitably find that I don’t have the precise materials needed to bring my vision to reality, so the progress halts again until I source what I want.
Of course these sweet tasty morsels are only what I didn’t have in my studio already, and the templates underneath them were designed while I waited for my treats to arrive.

Here is a snapshot of what I've been working on recently, in between mainstream toil and redecorating.
As always I also have active craft projects such as new crochet patterns.
I aim to concentrate more fully on my textile and fiber art in 2019, as that is where my passions take me.
Mainstream work of course takes up much of my time and hinders progress with my art projects.

Some current projects at various stages of production..........
Also have some craft projects on the go............ namely accessory knitting patterns and products. You can never have enough scrunchies or Moby bags. Winter dictates the need for new slippers, scarves, hats and mitts too.
The craft projects always move along the fastest whereas the textile creations take more forward planning and are often halted when my search for specific materials stands still until I find a new source or product that fits my vision.
Have been experimenting with traditional painting media but I must say you can't beat digital and Wacom for speed and lack
