Quickening her pace in the pouring rain, Vanessa ducked into a covered alley for a moment of respite. Trying to avoid the murky weather as much as she could, she wandered further down the alley and through a light crowd of people interacting with various small stalls and shops. After walking a short distance for a minute, Vanessa passed by a small sign pointing towards a doorway cloaked in sets of beads, advertising the fortune teller inside. She stared curiously at the doorway, watching a small tuft of purple mist lazily float out the top of the doorway, and checked her watch. Shrugging at how harmless it was, she pushed away the beads and entered the shop.
