My first entry is The Fool, or The Fool [2]; I haven’t decided which, yet.

Level: Intermediate, Acolyte, 3

This is the final challenge for this group. I’ve really appreciated this group, and learned a lot through the challenges.

Thanks a lot to TheFantaSim, and the others who have worked on this group.

Due Date: July 1st, 2018

[2] Use At Least 1 Additional Texture Stock Of Your Choice.

[3] Add Any Border That Goes Well With Your Design.

[4] Number of the Tarot Card on the Top, in the middle, and the Name Of The Tarot, On The Bottom, in the middle.

Limit: 2 submissions

The World (XXI)

The World (XXI) is the final card in the Major Arcana, in the tarot deck..

In the Rider-Waite Tarot deck, a naked woman dances above the Earth holding a staff in each hand, surrounded by a green wreath, being watched by various creatures.

In some decks the wreath is an ouroborous biting its own tail. In the Thoth Tarot designed by Aleister Crowley, this card is called "The Universe."

The Major Arcana is the path the Fool takes through life, or the "Fool's Journey".[20]

The World represents an ending to a cycle of life.

The dancing woman in the center is Sophia, or Wisdom/ Prudence, the sacred center, or the fifth element, the aether/ quintessence of celestial existence.

She symbolizes the goal of all mystical seekers.

Since, I couldn’t search new stock, because the ISP was down, this is sort of a combination of stock that was on hand from other things.

The rainbow and cosmic butterflies came from 17.2.;

And, Sophia from Spaekona;

The astrological elements from The Explorer At The Event Horizon;

And, the ivy from Terra: 3K CE;

Thanks, again, to everyone.

Listening to:

Sara Bareilles - She Used To Be Mine

[This makes me think of The Fool’s Path, especially the road not taken; I worked so hard, for so many things that are lost now; but, I still miss them.

[Like Boxer, in “Animal Farm”, I guess I should have worked harder.]

"Contact" Theatrical Trailer (1997)

Dr. Jill Tarter, head of Project Phoenix of the SETI Institute, was the real life inspiration for Jodie Foster’s character.

Arrival Trailer (2016) - Paramount Pictures

Based on the 1998 short story "Story of Your Life" by Ted Chiang.

It stars Amy AdamsJeremy Renner, and Forest Whitaker.

The film follows a linguist enlisted to communicate with the aliens and why they have arrived on Earth, before tensions lead to war.

“Arrival”, in many ways, is an updated version of “Contact”.

“Arrival” better shows the international impact of interstellar contact. Partly new technology makes CGI and post-production effects easier.

Sadly, the “mansplaining” both of the films’ lead female scientists face shows that things haven’t changed very much.

Humans are supposed to be the intelligent ape; but, consistently demonstrate a failure to successfully adapt to problems, often of their own making, like Climate Change, and contaminating natural resources, like with Fracking, and GMO’s.

My Dad says in a couple of weeks, I’ll be out of the street, that I haven’t paid back enough from the investment of keeping me alive, with my disabilities;

Hard to argue that.

Oh, and Happy Father’s Day, everyone!

Karen O - I Shall Rise (Official Video)

It's been an interesting journey.
Thanks for all the help.

I wonder what comes next. It will be interesting to see; if I’ll get to meet those who’ve gone ahead, like in In The End- Of The Beginning, or  One Small Step.

But, even if it’s nothing; at least, that would be restful.

So, that’s something to look forward to.

As Professor Hawking said, I can’t figure out why anything exists.

It’s easy to believe in the divine spirit invigorating everything, when looking at nature, or the stars;

It’s only when people try to profit from spirituality, and turn it into a religion, that it sucks all the soul out of it.

I don’t know.  It will be interesting to find out.

Take Care of Each Other.

P.S- You Are Here

As one of the lines from the movie “Contact” is that out of billions of stars, even just within the visual universe, it would be an incredible waste of space, if there was nothing else out there.

John Cleese has said that this is his favourite of the things Eric Idle has written.
