Varnishing Painting ft. Spirited Omen

What do you think of my painting “Spirited Omen”🌈🐉😙 When painting there’s always final steps! The isolation coat I’m applying helps to protect the painting from the final varnish. It’s really great to apply this first so that there's no potential damage from the varnish.  The varnish can actually warp wood, so because I work on Birchwood I want to avoid that. So I just want to do nice gentle strokes; you don't want to over brush when applying the isolation coat. 😉
