My Bio
I am a product of my split heritage, Italian and Canadian rolled into one: Italian fiestiness, Canadian politeness, and an early addiction to Saturday morning cartoons, comics and manga. Growing up I was more often doodling sexy girls and dragons on my textbooks than reading them. In 1998 I attended my first San Diego Comic Con and found my calling, I would be a manga artist. I am very prolific with relentless passion for art, dedication, and just enough sleep deprivation, I followed my dream of working creatively for a living.

I have worked with Dark Horse Comics, Image Comics, Random House, Tokyopop, Hasbro, Disney, Sanrio, Neil Gaiman and also with video game and movie companies on character development. I have my own characters and properties, Tanpopo and Helmetgirls. I've successfully merchandised and licensed my artwork across a variety of categories: clothing, stationery and gift, accessories, art prints, etc. and I continue expanding my licensing program each year.

I can't live without Holbein's "DUO" water-soluble oils, green tea lattes, Hello Kitty merchandise, and my daily fix of manga and anime and pop surrealism

Camilla is proud to be supported by, and to work with, Vancouver based Pac Blue Printing and their team of professionals for all her printing needs.

Today I have BULLYING on my mind. So for #throwbackthursday I want to use my 2016 painting Bettas On My Mind to talk about this issue. I want to speak up about how awful online bullying is.  Let me first say that I love all of you that comment and send love and positivity on my social media, i love you so much.  On occasion i have to deal with people who aren’t so nice, people who forget that i’m a human being with real feelings. Their cutting comments hurt. Its one of the reasons i have comments disabled on Youtube. I’ve learned over the years to grow a thicker skin, to delete the mean comments and move on. But yesterday a

Hello, I run a small blog.

I want to interview artists and post them on a blog and introduce them to many people.

If you have time, can you participate in the interview?

Your art style is so cool and unique!

I love your artwork I saw and have your books on stores early 2000s <3

Amazing work!

I remember the first time I came across your art. I was coloring but wanted to learn how to do faces and anime...doing realistic faces is not my thing. So I was in Indigo, which is the Canadian version of Barnes and Noble, and I came across your Mermaids coloring book and I got so excited I went home with my newfound book and about 48 Prismacolor Colored Pencils. Some in a package, some not. And I tell ya the first few were a disaster. But then I got online, on YouTube and Facebook and I learned up to what I do know now. I'm not perfect but boy I've learned this...I have three copies of the books you have, and so many printed pages you would not believe but I keep doing it because I love your artwork.

Everything you draw has such a whimsical feeling. Looking at your art is like being given a present <3

I love your beautiful art!
