Since a little over a month ago, a whole new movement has been sweeping the political landscape, especially online…
It is known as the #WalkAway movement where longtime Liberals renounce the Left and whatever Left party that he or she was once a part of due to its focus on identity politics, failure to maintain debates, smear tactics against opponents, and its utter inability to take criticism. Started by a gay New York hair stylist known as Brandon Straka it has gone viral on YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook to the point where he has been making various appearances in online interviews and even TV reports.

Here is his video in question:
Someone set up a fan page with similar resignations/defections from the Left: www.youtube.com/channel/UCDb4I…
In retrospect, I can’t say I am surprised that something like this happened, as one who now identifies as a Political Centrist, I totally saw that the Left was driving away dissenting Liberals with their rhetoric and mindset.
I would say Brandon hits on just about every point necessary to highlight the issues in the Left that the side refuses to even acknowledge.
It is very similar to the arguments that Classical Liberal Dave Rubin, a man I have a hell of a lot of respect for, brought up in videos in the past and will likely talk about more down the line:
In my view, the Left needs to LISTEN to people like him and take his statements to heart to improve, otherwise they will continue to lose.
