I spend much time with my job. I don't remember, said I that I work from 8:00 to 19:00 or not? Sometimes my already crazy schedule turns into mess and I finish work at 21:00, 23:00, 00:00. And I still didn't tell my bosses, that I have two jobs. No one still noticed this, and honestly I'm afraid to tell them.
For my free time. Since I can't get inspiration and too tired to draw now (few last weeks one customer just torture my programmers team with their "Can you change this please?", "Oh, you made it well, but we don't need this function already, remove it", "Mm, can you add this *IDK where they've found such messy thing* feature?", etc.), in free time I'm working on my custom map for the "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" game. I hope, if nothing get broken and I finish it in time, we (people from HP-Games.net
) will try to play it at next stream. Here are some shots of the map in process.
It's pretty rough now, many details still unfinished, some parts of the location absent, but movers, triggers and animals works.
I had problems with games using RDP before, but it works fine now. I can normally check what I made and just play. Why do I check how map runs using desktop and RDP? Well, ATi Radeon HD 2600 in my laptop doesn't like this game. There's a problem with textures showing exists: they blinks, dissapearing, etc., as a result you're running there not as Harry, but as an empty space with a shadow, through the location where you can bump into invisible character, animal or other object got invisible too. You wouldn't be satisfied with testing how your map works in such case, do you
? This problem exists in the whole old HD 2xxx graphics card series, so "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets", "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone", some other games based on Unreal Engine 1.5 don't work nice with these cards
