So, those watching me will have had the notice that I've changed my name (I hope, apparently there's still some bugs to work out there). It feels both weird and exciting at the same time; I've been WhiteDragon2393 for nearly 8 years and that's a lot of history. But I've been reluctant to do any art with this name for a while now, because I realised in the past couple of years that it's not what I wanted to be known as when making a name for myself as an artist, and certainly not one I want to sell under. So when the feature came up for community input, I jumped right in to take part in the discussion. But I wasn't expecting it to happen until the end of the year at the earliest, if at all (you'd start to get cynical too after seeing the same copy-pasted non-answer from the staff week after week).

So I was really, really surprised when the announcement popped up in my inbox just before I went to bed last night. And it honestly could not have come at a better time, because I've found an outlet for selling my work in my local town centre and my permanent print account* is feeling sad and neglected because of my reluctance to use it with my old username.

As for my new name? It's actually a name I came up with for a dragon because I feel like they should have names and I ended up liking it so much that I decided it would be my new alias. I still answer to and sign off as Blue though, because quite a few people know me as that and I'm very attached to it (mind you, I have no problem with being called Cal, partly because it's less likely to be followed up with a certain joke).

I feel so psyched right now. The question is, what do I draw first?

See you around

Blue

*Speaking of prints, I have one question - why is it that you can view the print store in your own currency, but the actual earnings page and price mark-up is all in dollars? My currency converter is going to be in for one hell of a workout.
