So, those watching me will have had the notice that I've changed my name (I hope, apparently there's still some bugs to work out there). It feels both weird and exciting at the same time; I've been WhiteDragon2393 for nearly 8 years and that's a lot of history. But I've been reluctant to do any art with this name for a while now, because I realised in the past couple of years that it's not what I wanted to be known as when making a name for myself as an artist, and certainly not one I want to sell under. So when the feature came up for community input, I jumped right in to take part in the discussion. But I wasn't expecting it to happen until

As if I needed any more proof that I have zero grasp of the passage of time, I apparently haven't written a journal here in nearly 2 years. *facepalms* In that time, I've graduated from Uni, had a job for six months and am now finding it next to impossible to get another (too old and/or over-qualified, apparently).
As I'm two years older and (hopefully) wiser, I figured it was now past the time to clean up the clutter I usually have in my journals and be a bit more to the point. I ought to tidy up my gallery too, now that I think about it.
There should also be another Doctor Who Lemming done by the end of November/beginning of December. One

Three reasons why I'm posting a journal: 1) To prove that it's not dead despite the fact it hasn't been touched since November, 2) I have some code to add to show the dA accounts for ImagineFX forum members and 3) I've just given my art blog some purpose by posting my impressions on fanfiction, or to be specific a certain type. Being a bookworm I may as well keep up to speed with all things literature no matter what - or what's passing for it in some cases.
And if there's something like a talking cat in it then I'm sold, because there aren't enough of them if you ask
