My name is Faryn and I live in the tundra that is Minnesota. I am currently working as a freelance illustrator trying to secure my dream job in art doing children’s books, editorial work, book covers, and commissions. I enjoy tea on an obsessive level, Florence + the Machine songs, working insanely hard to have time to do nothing, and the company of my two very fluffy cats, Cash and Finnegan. I love to meet new artists and gain friends who share and appreciate this passion so feel free to chat with me. Thanks for stopping by! 🌀

New Books!

After waiting years to announce this, I'm proud to say the first children’s book I ever worked on is finally published. I started The Boy Who Answered in 2011 when I was just a sophomore in college and even though I’ve grown a lot as an artist since this project was completed, I am still immensely proud of it. It’s a story of a young boy on a journey away from home who learns to push, give, and answer whenever it is asked of him. I can’t wait to share this beautiful, philosophical fable- written by the incredibly talented Hamilton Chu- with everyone who has been so supportive of my career thus far! I have 100 first-ed

Hi! I'm a new watcher, and since I don't watch that many people, I like to say why I am watching anyone. I like your art. I like your style and the slightly surreal tinges that they have. I like your use of colors and the crisp control that each line conveys. I look forward to seeing more from you! <3

I am absolutely in love with your art

Your work is absolutely stunning! It really moves and inspires me! I love how your images tell stories, I love the colors, your style, just everything!

Thank you so much! 🙏
