Hall of the Free Man

After remembering about the stained glass window of Gordon Freeman, I was inspired to create this scene, partially based off of the church I spent a fair bit of time in during High school.
Three objects are modified versions extracted from the files of the first Half life game, mostly because I found extracting the objects to be easier than trying to model them accurately from scratch. See if you can tell which.
Some textures are also based on extracted game files, though then cleaned up and modified to look nicer in the scene.

This ended up being a fun exercise in transmission lighting and volumetric effects in Blender.

The majority of textures were sourced from
Gordon Freeman, and Half Life belong to Valve. I claim no stake, only wanting to make cool art.

Modeled and Rendered in 2019.
