The 22nd of April is Earth Day. A day in which people around the globe partake in events to demonstrate their support and the ever growing need for environmental protection. The occasion began in the United States and involved participants from around two thousand colleges and universities, some ten thousand secondary and primary schools, and many other communities across the country. Today, it is celebrated in almost 200 countries by over a billion people. It is an important day for many environmental activists as we seek to bring about changes in attitude, policy, education and habit.

This year, we celebrated our 43rd Earth Day. In celebration, this week's feature will focus on all things crafty and Earthy.
