Salted Caramel Macarons

There's no stopping us. No stoppiiiing.

Yeah, I'm just gonna keep on pumping out macarons because I love them and they don't take 5 days to make unlike some other things.

These ones differ from the usual in that the filling isn't infused with tea. It's salted caramel instead. The macaron biscuits are decorated with almond praline.

I did try nutella but I experimented too much (changed half the recipe) and they failed. Tasted phenom, but ugliest macarons I've made. Will have spare egg whites after making Cam's dad's birthday cake this weekend though so nutella experiment will have to follow.

Haha. My version probably won't be that different to those ones actually. I made the biscuits entirety with hazelnut and added cocoa and the macaron batter tasted just like nutella.

How long til your first is over?

I'm 11 weeks now.. so hopefully I'll be able to look at food like I used to in a few weeks.
