there's a tone difference between your arms/ shoulders and your face. not sure if it's light or the makeup, but your skin is whiter on your body. in my humble opinion that gives better results (than the darker face) as the photo's about the sweet young girl taking a picture, so fair milky skin definetly does the trick.
the lens seems to be wide open, gives a nice bokeh, focuses the attention on you rather than the trees behind.
did you desaturate the colors? i like the way they turned out.
great photo - makes one wonder how pretty your face is lol. maybe that was the point? nice job anyways.
One thing I have to correct you on is the fact that this is not me in the photograph, it is actually my nextdoor nighboure. I think she is beautiful too. =]
I didn't notice the tone difference, thanks for pointing that out. I'm pretty sure that it's her make-up.
I do de-saturate most of my images, but mostly gradient map and a touch of sepia.

your shoot is definetly nice... I also desaturate but I never add sepia or any other tone for that matter... question of taste I huess... i do however increase the color temperature when shooting B/W to give it the old photo look.
