Excellent artwork.

Watercolor?

Thank you! Yes it's watercolor with a bit of white gouache if I remember correctly.

Kinski was excellent in this remake, but I still preferred the 1922 film, much scarier in my opinion. Great watercolour !

Thank you! Not too long ago I would have shared your preferrence, but seeing the 1979 version recently kind of changed my mind. Yes, the 1922 is much scarier and Max Scheck is terrifying in it. And of course there's the amazing visual style and atmosphere. Not to mention the charm brought to it by the history of the of the film itself - story about plague and mass death filmed sortly after WWI, spanish flu and famine that followed it. And the movie itself has returned from teh grave as well :) I love it, but Kinski won me over. He's the only vampire you feel some sort of empathy for. He's not the apex predator like other depctions of Dracula, he's a lonely outcasted bottom-feeder and a parasite. And the dinner scenes are absolutely wonderful, especially Kinski's childlike face when he talks about wolves and his dissapointment when he realizes his guest clearly doesn't share his fascination for them. Just perfect!:)
