NG: Prince and his Thembo

Prince Pulsar Radiance is the firstborn of Empress Twilight Sparkle and Queen Rarity. How he came to be is through a process called Spellborn Alchemy. What one does is find a powerful unicorn or potions maker and they can combine the genetics of one or more creatures to create an offspring. Often times one parent has to incubate the offspring but there are options to have it grow in an egg regardless if it's mammalian or reptile.

Pulsar and his two sisters, Bellatrix Dazzle, and Serenity were also Spellborn children. Spellborns have a habit of being born with vibrant or odd mutations. Bellatrix has her vibrant rainbow wings, while Serenity has puffy clouds as markings and is blind. Some Spellborn mutations can be fatal, however. 

Generally speaking, Spellborns created from same-sex parents will almost always be the same sex as their parents, Pulsar was an exception to this rule as Twilight was able to manipulate the spell to give them a son. 

The Prince's companion is a vibrantly blue Pegasus by the name of Moonstone Venture. The oldest of six children, he comes from a suspiciously wealthy family with a nondisclosed business, that not even he is informed of what exactly his family does. Moonstone's mother is a unicorn who creates and sells jewelry made of hoof-sourced materials. His father, Moonstone believes, must be a miner of some kind, as he is almost always covered in soot. Both Moonstone and his father speak in a very redneck way, often cutting off their words and slang. But he is simultaneously refined and sophisticated thanks to his mother. Moonstone is a rather large Pegasus and has incredible natural strength within him. He can crush a watermelon with his wings without much thought. 

Moonstone is more brawn than he is brain, however. While he's not disabled in anyway, he's not very bright. Often coming across as stupid or at the least arrogant. Moonstone is a Demiboy and goes by he/they pronouns. He doesn't care (in a gentle way) in regards to others in their use of pronouns. He'll accept anyone regardless if they're a he, a she, a fae, he just doesn't care. He's happy to accept them regardless. He judges someone more on personality than anything else.
