Description
I had originally intended for this to be a Luna, but after realizing that I had made the legs too short for a proper Luna, I had to come up with an alternative. Waaaaaay back, I made a rearing AJ that was a colossal failure, so it was time to redeem myself. After all the AJ love happening on EQ, it seemed an appropriate time to get some more of her in my gallery.
AJ is made of a wire and foil armature, super sculpey and sculpey firm, and painted with acrylics. I sealed with with matte acrylic spray. The base is part of the construction. Rearing poses are very hard to stabilize, so I'm definitely going to be making all my rearing poses this way from now on.
AJ is about 7 1/2 inches high, making her the tallest sculpt I've done so far.
I'm not sure if I want to sell her or save her for Big Apple Ponycon. If I do put her up for sale, I'll post in in my journal.

Well-sculpted and painted, maker! Is the tail serving as a third support point for the figurine? Anyway, good job indeed!
