After a short career (12 years) as a sculptor/painter of gallery art in SanFrancisco I moved my family to Oregon where I worked and studied to become a landscape designer and builder. Now that our children are grown, I have returned to practicing and re-learning art, mostly in the form of painting and drawing. I paint what I see, whatever catches my eye, or my mind's eye, inspired by the beauty of the natural world, and other artists' work, both contemporary and past masters. Currently studying the work of realist painters of the 19th and early 20th centuries.
I retired from practicing landscape architecture at the end of 2020, and now have more time to devote to other creative endeavors, especially drawing and painting.

Forgive my gushing, but your gallery is absolutely stunning! Your detail and dedication to your craft and to the brief little snaps Nature provides is exemplary!
