No more tricks.

There is a move by Bishamon (the demonic samurai) that puts the other character into a wooden board with wedges and then drops a stone weight over their knees. I saw it only once but it stayed in my memory long enough to give birth to this idea. I made some research and found out that this is a sort of obscure japanese torture method called "ishidaki".
There is lots of art dedicated to morrigan and felicia. I already drew Q-bee. And when I envisioned Lei Lei/Hsien ko (chinese zombie) in a japanese torture, with all her traps and weapons displayed around her, and some of them used against her, it all started to make sense to me.
Besides my art deals with bondage of obscure or usually unused characters. LeiLei fell right into that category.

There are a couple of pics of her outfit simplified to a sexier design, so I took some ideas from them. The sleeves and all her hidden tricks, were removed. The pants also removed, but the idea stayed in the form of stockings.

At first I was going to add Bishamon stepping on the stones over her knees, but he got removed in the sketch phase. I thought that using her weapons against her would suit the pic better.

I found a problem when coloring the pic. Most of her weapons have a similar color pallete, which ended up making the whole image looking very monotone and uninteresting. I then thought that it didn´t need to have warm colors, or a very color balanced pallete. She is a  chinese zombie, so a cool blueish pallete is very appropiate for the tone of the pic.
The initial perspective of the pic made it hard for me to add a background. I tried to use the lazy single spotlight backgound, but it looked dull. I later added the japanese doors and the dangling chains, which added a lot of mood to the pic and helped establish a vague but recognizable location. 

There was a point where I thought that the pic wouldnt work and I would have to scrap the whole idea, but I pushed through and here is the result of my perseverance.

I was going to name it "no more tricks up your sleeve" but as she is sleeveless, it made no sense.
