The Boleyn Girl Smile by cabotinecco The Boleyn Girl Smile by cabotinecco
Anne Boleyn (1501 or 1507 - 19 May 1536) was the second wife of King Henry VIII of England and was queen consort from 1533 until 1536. She was the mother of Queen Elizabeth I of England.

She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Boleyn, a courtier, and his wife, Lady Elizabeth Howard, sister of Thomas Howard, 3rd Duke of Norfolk. While still a child, Anne was sent to the Netherlands for her education, and later to France; she returned to England in late 1521.

Anne was crowned Queen Consort of England on 1 June 1533. Later that year, Anne gave birth to a girl, the future Queen Elizabeth I of England. Like her predecessor, Anne failed to produce a surviving male heir which proved her downfall. Sir Thomas Cromwell led a plot to replace her, some say at the King's order. Despite unconvincing evidence against her, she was condemned and beheaded as guilty of adultery, incest, and high treason.

So many people konw her story and I like her very much too.In my work,I did some renaissant things make it like a real canvas.I painted this picutre for the book "EXOTIQUE 4",and it will be published.I feel so happy now, haha.
Drawn in PhotoShop CS2 with a Wacom Tablet.I use some ref to finish her clothing. As your konw, pose by myself too.I hope you will like it.

I love it! It's really welldone and the colours are amazing :) If I were to remark on anything it is that Anne's eyes were brown and not blue

Really great picture. I love it. I didn't knew the story of Anne Boleyn and thanks to you now i do.
I allows myself to make a tiny critisism : the perspective of the crown is a little failed. Looks like it's in front of the head, not on it.
Despite that it's a fantastic picture.

Absolutely breathtaking! I tried to create her dress in The Tudor's scene maker, but the game hasn't been updated yet, so it didn't come out looking nearly as magnificent as this! I love how you portrayed Anne in this portrait. Beautifully done <3

She was the best queen but was put in a bad spot because of Sir Douche and everyone who thought she was a witch. Such a cruel world that must have been.
tastybiscuitreats Featured By Owner Jun 22, 2014
She was the only one Henry let live though. Not as cruel as being beheaded.
AJInu-Okami Featured By Owner Jun 22, 2014  Student Artist
Henry let his 4th wife live because he said she was ugly. Boleyn did get her head chopped off.
tastybiscuitreats Featured By Owner Jun 22, 2014
Oh, don't remember my year 9 history as well as you. I was confusing Catherine of Aragon with Anne.
AJInu-Okami Featured By Owner Jun 22, 2014  Student Artist
It's ok :) I just remember stories about the wives of Henry, so that's how I know.

A seductive smile from a very pretty woman.
She had a very pretty smile.

The interesting thing is that there are extant contemporary portraits of her. She was no beauty, but quite good looking. It was her conversation and personality which are what really attracted Henry VIII's attention.
Mag-Lady Featured By Owner Feb 24, 2013
Everything about this is perfect. Every little detail makes her seem so perfect, but at the same time she has that look in her eye and you can just tell she knows something you don't.

Too bad she gets her head cut off, it was so nice.

So, basically this has completely inspired me to write a poetry book about it on Wattpad, and I REALLY want to use this for the cover, and of course, I'd give you all the credit, but I'm just asking permission, I'll live if you say no.

This is 1 of the most beautiful fantasy versions of Anne Boleyn I've ever seen :D I loved it so much that I made an imitation of it on Doll-Divine's "Tudors Scene-Maker." It makes me wanta write a fantasy version of the saga involving the Tudor Court, but with magic & mayhem woven in ^^

I love Anne. A true victim of family greed. This picture is simply stunning.
Aurora-BW Featured By Owner Jul 30, 2011   Writer
Beautiful picute :) Only thing I'd say, is that, from what I've read, Anne wasn't a fan of the gable hood (it was a Spanish fashion worn by Catherine of Aragon) instead, favouring the French hood from her time of banishment in France, prior to her marriage to Henry
