Hey - I wouldn't mind trying this, but I cannot find elliptic (or bipoler) in the transform editor. I have Apophysis 2.08 beta 2. Are they are plugin? If so, where can I get it?

You definitely don't need to render at dimensions that large!

I'd feel like a hero if I were to enter a value more than 2000pix...
I'll try n' make good use of the technique sir :)

RAM is getting less and less expensive these days. Perhaps you should look into an upgrade? (though you my need better processor speed to make it worthwhile...)

Could I do this tutorial using GIMP? Photoshop doesn't like me.
But anyhoo, it's a really great tutorial.

You should be able to. I haven't tried it, but I assume GIMP would have the necessary tools.

this is really cool but i have found that my computer just can't tolerate the selection process. that's where it locks up. and i have a reasonably young computer! I find it understandable w/ so many little spots to deal with.
