You might have noticed my weakness for mustelids
This year was the badger year!
Can't help myself... I need to keep them. All of them are Meles meles, aka the european badger. The bigger one in the background is a honey badger.
From left to right:
1. super old grandpa badger: massive, huge, impressive ridge... saw two world wars at least.
2. Pathological: had some problems with the teeth and lost the complete upper row of incisors except the two on the side. Gum has been grown shut.
3. Hit and run badger: got a trauma of some sort to the head (or cancer?) and developed a bump
4. Good old Sweden: found and cleaned myself years ago
More will follow, I am sure.
You have a lovely badger you want to part with...?
I might be just the right person for that!
