Some of my "hard to display" oddities got their perfect match.
Found some amazing bottles for such pieces.
Showing a king's crab leg, roe deer teeth, a mummified goldian finch and my thornback ray tail!

I love that thornback ray tail the most. It looks like something straight out of a science-fiction movie.

There's a few how-to's online. I think salt and or borax (powder) soap is the best bet, but I do recommend looking up some tutorials! Works on birds, mice, some bugs. Do know your laws though! I know America doesn't allow collecting most birds.

Yeah same. The Migratory Bird Treaty Act. I'd rather it be there than not, ya know?

Mmmmm..... From my understanding? No. :S It's suppose to be no bird parts since you can't prove where you found said feathers. Was the bird alive, dead, dropped it? Legally it's your word against the laws soo... It's safer not to collect. I'd say look into more on your own just to be safe though! Ask your local Fish And Wildlife agency!
