I listen to a lot of podcasts while I'm chained to my drawing desk, and one of my favourites is The JV Club (hosted by Janet Varney, or you may know her other name, Korra!) and 2 episodes ago, in which she interviewed Sex Nerd Sandra, a comment was made about Sandra riding a Koalasaur and how quickly a fan would draw it for them.

Someone else beat me to it on the show's Pinterest page, but I am still that fan. The whole thing maybe took between 3 - 4 hours, working on it in bits and pieces over a few days - and is probably the most layered file I've worked on in photoshop for a long time.

This one is amazing, guy!! But I was wondering how you did the lettering of: 'The last Koalasaur'. Did you draw that to, or just made it in Photoshop CS6??

The whole thing was drawn in Manga Studio and coloured in photoshop, including the title. (Which I'm most proud of!) ;)

It was just straight black in manga studio, then I coloured it to look like stone in PS. (Using various double brushes. Which I know nothing about and can never replicate the same brush twice, but it's fun to experiment!)

Well, thanks for the great explanation! I'm mostly using the normal brush in PS, because I'm not sure why/when to use the other ones. So I guess I should try them out too.. ^^

What? You did a movie poster and didn't include the famous actress Janet Everley?!? I've been following her career for ages, and after she left the Bliss Cakes campaign, I've refused to buy any. Not even if my body craved them (especially the chocolate ones).

I'll just have to come up with something else for the esteemed Miss Everley. :)
