Your art is great !!...If you have some time...I need a really good tutorial for HD-rendered Smoke...do you have an Idea ?? :(
Thanks Toxic! here is my tutoral, I found it on a site that didn't actually give me credit, but it will show ya how to create that smoke: [link] - hope that helps.
Okay, i tryed this one many times...and it kinda doesn't work the way it works on your old version...did i forgot something...the smoke doesn't look so smooth as in your version..

first i just tryed the way you explained it.but in PS CS3 ..the wave thing doesn't work..so i searched a little and found out that oscillations/vibrations is the new version of the waves in the older tutorial photoshop version...

Because this didn't work either..i played arround with the liquify-filter too...

my final picture looked like that:

....i think it looks nice but it doesn't work the way you did it :( .. practice or mistake of software ?..

greetz, TRW..
Hey Tox.,

Your version looked great I thought, and you're very close to achieving the effect like mine. I think the only thing you're missing is maybe using the free transform tool to change the shapes of the smoke. You can also try duplicating the smoke layer, applying more wave/fade-wave effects and overlaying them changing the layer blending modes to get different looks. That's about all I can suggest. Good luck man!
Thank you very much for the :+fav:!!!!!
hey howya doing Jon, just adding you to my watch list :)

Michael.
