From the back with a turn in the head is difficult to portray, but you have done that well here. Very good work with the shading as well. I suggest though that his right arm seems a little awkward.

Well, if you can, I would suggest lowering it closer to his body; as it is, it looks as if he is reaching for something 'off screen.' Or, if his arm is turning with his body, then give it a less severe angle and instead make it more fluid and natural.

The arm was supposed to be holding his sword and turning with the body as he brought it around for a sideways slash.

Oh, I see. Yes, that is making sense, then. But without knowing that it does seem stiff. That is tough to convey, though, especially with the image cut off as it is.

Good job. though perhaps you could twist the body a bit more counterclockwise just to give the illusion of him turning towards the viewer
