Description
When I wandered through our, Prehistoric Kingdom's forum, I found some complaints regarding the Allosaurus, its numbers of teeth in particular. So I twiddled around which things I can correct without destroying the model and passing to me the double amount of work on an already rigged and textured model.
If I start tearing into the mesh and delete or add parts, then this leads to a screwed up UV coordinates, which usually keep the textures in place. If this happens, you will see ugly patches in your textured model and adjusting the UV is nearly impossible in Blender, because it tend to be a chaotic mess.
Applying a new UV usually ends up with the result, that parts of my painted textures won't fit to the corresponding parts and I really don't want to repaint the whole textures, since I have other models to do for Prehistoric Kingdom and other commissions.
This is the reason, why I couldn't take all of your suggestions into account.
I could increase the teeth by copying the mesh of some the already existing teeth. Adjusting the neck in order to let it appear more bulkier was an easy task, while creating a different material with the right amount of gloss for the eyes was a bit of trial and error.
