#DeviantArtistQuestionnaire for DeviantArt's 15th Birthday!

Hey all!  It's been far too long since I've been on dA and I think it's time that I come back.  Over the next few weeks, I'll be uploading some artwork that I've been working on - as well as become more active in the community again.

In the meantime, be sure to check out my online shop, Byte Size Treasure!

EMERGENCY MERMAID COMMISSIONS!

Journal Entry: Tue Mar 6, 2012, 4:00 PM

Sorry I haven't been around dA much recently.  I've been lurking in the shadows, but mostly posting sketches on my facebook fan page: www.facebook.com/rewyndstudio

But it's that time of the year again - time for me to move.  Which also means, I'm in desperate need of a bit of extra cash.

I've just uploaded previews of the MLP: Mermaids that I started last month:
MLP Mermaids WIP by bytesizetreasure

I'm opening commissions for mermaids.  You can chose to have me finish one of the MLP Mermaids, draw your character as a mermaid, or a famous character that you like as a mermaid.

You can chose the character, as well as the type of aquatic life that I morph them with - or you can leave it to me.

Some other mermaid examples are:

And mermaid portraits:

I'm opening 6 slots - $30 a piece (which is a lot cheaper than my standard commission price for these).  Please spread the word - I don't want to be homeless.

Thanks a million!

Much love to you all!

Online Shop Open NOW!

Journal Entry: Tue Sep 13, 2011, 3:57 PM

Hey guys.  I'm still around, I promise.  Work has been super busy, and so have I.

So busy in fact, that I've opened an Online Store!!

Rewynd's Treasure Shop

At the moment, there's bookmarks, buttons, charms, jewelry - and more to come soon!

AND, if you Like the Shop's Facebook Fan Page, you'll get informed of contests/giveaways, special promotional items, and news about all the newest products.

For the Grand Opening, once the Facebook page gets to 15 fans, I'll be posting a special promotional code to receive 35% off of your first purchase!

Thanks everyone!

All Moved in and tumblr

Journal Entry: Sun Mar 13, 2011, 5:55 AM

We're all moved in!

We've actually been moved in for 2 weeks now.  I just had no internet for a while...

I also don't have a desk at which to work at - except for my tiny little drafting table, which is not enough room for my monitors, cpu, AND tablet.

Due to box size (not fitting in our car) I was unable to get my desk from IKEA this weekend - but we're getting it next weekend.  YAY!!

I'm going to be posting before and after shots (as well as in progress shots) of my office on my tumblr.

Speaking of tumblr.....

Tumblr

I've had a tumblr for a while, but I never posted any information about it anywhere.  So, if you feel like keeping up with my random doodles and such - go ahead and follow me:

rewyndstudio.tumblr.com

Subscription
My dA subscription is up in 5 days.  I don't know if I'll be able to get a new one.  We'll see.

My Rights as an Artist

I have the right to post commissioned artwork here on deviantart and on my website. (Watermarks will be used, of course.)

If it is an original character, all credit for character will be given to you (links included).

If there is an issue with me displaying the artwork, just tell me and we'll talk about it.

I have the right to use ANY commission in my portfolio.

I have the right to decline any commission without question and without offering explanation.

I have a art-related job outside of deviantart, but your art will be #2 on my priority list (behind job work only.) So keep this in mind. I promise to be TIMELY with your piece.

I have the right to raise prices at any time.
(I will NOT do so in the middle of a commission however.)

I will draw :
Original Characters
Fanart
Avatars (Gaia, RO) or RPG characters, etc.
Anthro
Animals
Artist Nudity

I will NOT draw :
Hard core Yoai / Yuri / Hentai / Porn
Difficult Mechanical Items

Your Role as Commissioner

First and foremost, you will respect me (as I will to you.)

You will send payment according to our set schedule.

Once a payment schedule is planned, you will have a locked commission rate. I will NOT increase your price for this particular piece.

You will not use my art to make prints, books, shirts, anything in which you would make a profit. (I hold legal rights to the art I create.)

Payment Planning

Before you see ANY FINISHED PIECE (without a watermark), I expect payment in full. I will send you a small sample image of the finished piece so you know that it is finished and I'm not trying to scam you.

When I receive final payment, I will send you the full image and any prints you wish.

Welcome to my 1st official "feature." I'll try to update and do new features every few weeks or so - and for the New Year (2009), I'll do 9 pieces for each feature.

For the first feature, I did a search through various sections of Deviantart using only the word "mystery." Below are the pieces I found most interesting based on this word.
