DK: Harvest Festival 2013

I want to first say a huge THANK YOU!!!! to everyone who graciously allowed me to use their OC's in this piece (credits down below). This piece wouldn't have been half as fun had I been forced to make up every character on my own. And to the creators Dave and Liz, should you happen to see this... I can only really apologize for what happened here. My only excuse for this is to point out this is what happens when you create awesome stuff and then let slightly unhinged individuals such as myself get their hands on it.  

ALSO: As an added bonus to encourage you to stare at my artwork for long periods of time, I have hidden 18 harvest festival bead images in this drawing! All 18 are based off the symbols for the different contest categories (please visit www.dreamkeeperscomic.com/gall… for the 6 different symbols). The images can be found on anything; Dreamkeepers, buildings, actual beads, you name it! They do not all necessarily follow the color scheme on that link, but I made a bit of an attempt to keep them color-coordinated. You will need to download the image to see them all. I don't have a prize for those who find all 18 (I am poor), but I will note you a link to the answer key if you correctly identify all 18 in the comments section!

This image was drawn on 3 sheets of 11 x 17" 300-weight bristol, lined with Derwent pencils (a nod to the fact the DK books are done using pencils), colored in Adobe Photoshop CS5. The final image is comprised of 44 layers and a few too many hours of work. And now I must sleep.
