"You wanna be the War Machine, take your shot. "

- Tony Stark, Iron Man 2 (2010)

size: 14 x 10 in
time: ~ 8 hours (excl. drying times)

After I posted Iron Man I, a friend commissioned me to do a similar one and asked for Iron Man with his hand up (a la the drawing).

I had a great time adapting the method I worked out to a different pose/lighting situation and whilst it was incredibly hard, creating a background and the lens flare was rather fun! Not massively happy with it, but proud of it as a first attempt into the world of backgrounds.

thankyou so much =) it was definitely a fun experiment, though I'd like to work a bit more at lens flare, see if I can improve on it at all =)

Really? I think that it looks perfect the way it is. It adds a nice touch to the picture that many artist's don't ever try.

thankyou! I had so much fun playing around with the colours and the different ways to get the tones I was wanting.

(also, can I just say I had a minor fangirl attack at getting a comment from you =') I seriously admire your stuff!)
