Want some time for yourself? Tell your friend you can’t go out with them tonight. They’ll understand and you can always reschedule.
Too stressed? Finish the paper tomorrow. As long as you get it done, that’s all that matters.
Feeling upset/anxious/angry? Stop what you’re doing and either relax or do something positive that makes you happy.
Have a problem with someone? Talk to them about it. Especially if it’s a friend or significant other, never leave anything unsaid. It’s better to tell them how you’re feeling.
Being mistreated? Speak up, stand up for yourself. You deserve to be treated with respect and kindness.
Exhausted? Take a break from everything and just rest. Go to sleep early and find something that calms you.
It’s okay to put yourself first. Taking care of yourself is what truly matters. You deserve health and happiness. That’s what is most important.
