I just read through all the comments on all your photos and I have to say, your wings are absolutely incredible! I've been doing research for several years now on how to make a pair of articulated wings for myself and I have come back to your page time and time again for reference. Thank you so much for uploading so many process photos and for answering so many questions about the materials. I'll be sure to send you a picture of my own wings when I'm done!

Hello and holy smokes those wings are amazing but if you don't mind do the actually move or are they poseable, but if the do actually move then how do you control them ? And just one more question how long, and how did you make them? Thank you and sorry if I wasted time ,yet they are an inspiration nonetheless

i can move the wings: in/out, up/down and flap/palf.
the movements are controlled by micro-joysticks on both indexfingers of the gloves.
it took quite some time to make them, although the design&experiments took the most time. the final build was done within, say, 8 weeks or so...

Hello Bushitaka i recently looked up 3-D printed prosthetic's i found that you can use a cheap smart phone to program movement into it now i am looking into incorporating my wing design with simple strong yet light and flexible materials but also i am considering a more hands free approach such as a prosthetic would use to use electronic skin signals or the head band to control a mouse for paralyzed people but to use this simple design you have shown here though and to reduce size use more joints with more lines to actuate the wings with a computer chip that could simply run off something as small as a cell phone and powered by something as two or four laptop batteries. but i am looking at something of that sort. if you have any ideas or advice for me in combining the two mech and prosthetic i would appreciate.

If you don't mind me asking, how large are the feathers on your largest angel wings?
Bushitaka Featured By Owner Apr 8, 2016
the longest feathers are 75 cm

You probably got this question several times, but what are the feathers made out of? is it a kind of plastic?
