Description
The next card in the series is complete. It's been a bit of a chore getting myself motivated to work on these, but I've been pushing through. I decided to use Griff Emberhand, the dwarven bard, to represent this, the first card of the Major Arcana. He seemed to suit the theme. ![]()
A headstrong young bard strides fearlessly forward on his journey. He holds a flower from his love, and raises his voice in joyful song. However, if he isn't careful, his next step will take him over a cliff. At his side, his dwarven mountain dog companion barks a warning, hoping to pull his master back from the edge.
Upright, The Fool represents youth, beginnings, adventure, innocence, idealism, and joy.
Reversed, The Fool represents carelessness, reckless behavior, foolhardiness, naivete, distraction, and gullibility.
