film vs. book by burdge film vs. book by burdge
i'm sorry, but i really had to.

awkward, confused staring in the films, fiery and funny chemistry in the books... i think i'd rather go for canon, wouldn't you?

aye, the movies didn't really show their relationship in the same light as the books

This sums up my thoughts about the couple in the books and the movies. I love your art style :3 (I can't draw good like you lol)

The Ginny from the film reminds me of my ex lol, that empty gaze as if she is not there with Harry, omg

Harry:Do we kiss now, or...
*one deviation by burdge later*
Ginny:Yes, we absolutely do. Get over here~

I KNOW RIGHT. I ALWAYS Imagined Ginny to be more loose, and (For lack of a better word) freestyle. In the movies she's depicted as perfect, and her hair is all straight, with a perfect vest and all that. I always thought she would be a t-shirt and jeans kind of person, or Robes and jeans... But in the movies she never smiled, she was like a robot. a very scared-of-harry robot.

The books are almost always better than the movies in any situation.
Yeah, for me Ginny was just... there. Didn't have that much of a purpose (not counting the Chamber of Secrets).
I haven't read the books in far too long.... I must go back to them. ^w^

You know... I love Bonnie I think she's an absolute doll, however what they did to Ginny in the movies was... *le sigh* Now granted it's been a while since I've read the books (and since now I seemed to have lost my set I got in middle school that's not happening for a little bit), but from what I've heard and remember Ginny was a strong, funny and warm character. In the movies she's still caring and warm but she's also just... meh. I don't necessarily blame Bonnie for that. Her character just kind of seemed to be stripped down to the bare bones, to being just kind' of a love interest of Harry. Just an unfortunate side effect of adapting a book into a movie.

You're art is wonderful! I've actually been coloring some of it-not going to post any of or do anything with it, all just for fun and your art lends so well to it! :D

WARNING! Carry on reading! Or you will die, even if you only looked at the word warning!

Once there was a little girl called Clarissa, she was ten-years-old and she lived in a mental hospital, because she killed her mom and her dad. She got so bad she went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the More-government decided that best idea was to get rid of her so they set up a special room to kill her, as humane as possible but it went wrong the machine they were using went wrong. And she sat there in agony for hours until she died.

Now every week on the day of her death she returns to the person that reads this letter, on a monday night at 12:00a.m. She creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by cutting you and watching you bleed to death.

Now send this to ten other pictures on this one site, and she will haunt someone else who doesn't. This isn't fake. apparently, if u copy and paste this to ten comments in the next ten minutes u will have the best day of ur life tomorrow. u will either get kissed or asked out, if u break this chain u will see a little dead girl in your room tonight. in 53 mins someone will say i love you or im sorry

To any superstitious minds who may worry, the Clarissa comment isn't true. I promise you that.

(I also commented here because I didn't want to upset the person who posted it as they obviously believed it)

Is it me, or do the original books almost ALWAYS tend to be better than the movie adaptations? Not saying I dislike the movies, because I don't, but... Oh wait, I've not read any of the books. But by the comments and the drawing, they seem to be much better than the movies. Maybe I should read the books sometime.

I really like this drawing, though. The way the book (and this pic) portrays the relationship and the character of Ginny seems much more interesting. C:

It's normal for a book to be better than a movie of 2 hours.
And the adaptation of a book is always hard to do and you can't put everything in the movie, otherwise the movie last 6 hours.

Thats why i don't like the movies. It doesn't even looks like Harry Hermoine and Ron are friends all feels awkward and serious as if they do nothing other than being serious their whole school time
ArdaPlays Featured By Owner Nov 13, 2015
I love Bonnie, I truly do! But they didn't present Ginny as they should of. To me, she appears weaker than she should. I'm starting to question if they even tried with her character. In other words, I don't blame Bonnie, I blame the script-writer.

Yeah I feel the same way, she's a strong rebel type, not the head-over-heals-take-me-I'm-a-girly-girl- type

Personally I never found Ginny and Harry to have chemistry neither in the books nor film, and them ending up together seemed a little out of place for me. Oh well. Still, the book handled their relationship better than in the movie.
