Gene Roddenberry had three sons.The first of these sons was born a long time before the other two, and was the only one lucky enough to see his father. Born into a utopia, he nevertheless came very close to death within his early years, and only survived because of the overwhelming support of those who loved him. He went on to escape death in his multiple descendants, with many more likely to come.
