Bad End AU- Prologue: The day the sun didn't rise.

Yay! Almost finished with the prologue for the AU, just one piece left C: but you may think: Buns, there is only 4 princesses and you said the prologue would include them, who is left? Let's see if you can guess a hint: they also have a sun related cutiemark, wink wink (not exactly a princess tho haha)

phew i am literally retconning all of Tia's role in this AU, tbh i always struggled with my ideas for her in the AU, she is such an important character in the show, should i keep her alive? give her a child? send her away? turn her into Daybreaker? It's a lot C,: so for now i'm happy with this idea so let's see how it will develop C:

Her niece had urged her to fly away from the danger with her, but she refused, she would stay even if Canterlot fell with her.

A couple of guards stayed by her side, when she saw the throne room door swung open, the dark figure of Nightmare Moon stood before her, accompanied by the silhouettes of  Tirek and Discord. The two alicorns eyes made contact and a chill flowed through Celestia’s back , a thousand years ago and in their last encounter she still saw a remain of Luna in those eyes, a cry for help, but now she saw nothing, only the burning gaze fueled by vengeance.

that wasn’t Luna anymore.  

They quickly took what little magic the guards had, getting rid of them easily.

Celestia tried to gain a bit of time for Twilight, oh Twilight…what a task had been placed upon her faithful student, carrying all the alicorn magic, was it an egotistical choice? She had thought it would for the better, but could she have been wrong? 


Tirek approached her to take her magic, thinking he would feast on the power of the sun and instead got nothing the smile on his face wiping immediately, and a smirk adorning Celestia’s, at least she would hold a tiny victory for a while.When the villains noticed that she wouldn’t be of any use, the alicorn mind started to race, what would they do with her now? They had many reasons to retaliate against her. Perhaps she would be the new clown for Discord, thousands of years imprisoned in stone carried lots of pent up anger, or Nightmare would send her to the moon…or the sun in her case. She still held her face high, even if she had fear she would face it if it meant that her subjects wouldn’t be hurt, their vengeance was after her. 

And then Tirek opened a portal with his dark magic, he planned to throw her into Tartarus, the same prison he had been for millennia, fitting he thought, the beacon of light and hope trapped into a place where there was none, among all the monsters that terrified Equestria.The alicorn tried to fight back but it was in vain, the princess of the sun being unceremoniously thrown into a prison in Tartarus, her foes laughing while doing so. A prison she would never escape on her own.

The princess was swallowed by the darkness of the Tartarus, just like her sun had been swallowed by the pitch darkness of the night.
