Personality: Portugal is the worst lesson horse imaginable. If the student isn't a well-trained rider, he'll throw them off. He's also very mouthy; he loves nibbling on hair and collars. In the arena, he gets tunnel-vision, and can't concentrate on anything but his companion. Chu hates blankets, and spooks when one is thrown on him. He is aggressive with larger horses, so he only is with smaller ones. This is a good thing, though, because he's the largest horse on our ranch at a whopping 20.4 hands. He's aware of his gigantic height, and because of this he's a pain in the arse to bridle. He'll just raise his head out of reach, so he's always on the shorter crossties. On any normal day, he's quite the grump. He only behaves if you've got corn. He loves corn.
