it something I keep on meaning to do. Its always cool as. I've always loved long exp of busy city streets, to leave behind the path of cars etc as rays of lights... :D

It's easier than it looks but a bit trickier then it sounds!
You need a tripod, and set the camera to a low shutter speed to take a long exposure, if your doing it by yourself set the timer, knock out the lights, hit the button, run to infront of the camera and start drawing in the air with anything that creates light!
For the ones I have in my gallery I was using a selection of 3 different size torches and to achieve the colours i was covering them with layers of coloured celophane secured over them with an elastic band, you just try adding more layers till you get the shade of colour you want!
