Helloooo!
Hope all my devart friends are doing well this spring and you’re enjoying plenty of sunshine. I have been out and about, but mostly without my Canon of late. It is in desperate need of interior lens and an all over cleaning, so until I can get a reputable camera guy to do as such, I’m only using it for long distance shots mainly of birds.
I’ve got to admit though, I've been using my iPad for floral/plant shots and it has been fantastic! I’m enhancing in photoshop as I see fit, but the colours and clarity are all the iPads work. It has been truly impressive. Just goes to show, you don’t need a fancy shmancy cam kit to enjoy photography. 😋
Anyway, I’ve got a load of photos in my stash so I’ll be posting them regularly. Just a reminder that I always follow back if you follow me. So many great devart-ers out there! Beginners, pros and everyone in between... it’s wonderful to see so many peeps making art in all forms. Talk later! X
Hi Hi Hi!
I've been absent the last while due to a butt load of commitments elsewhere. That has basically put any of my chances for photography out the window, plus the weather hasn't cooperated all that much either with the ground being waterlogged and muddy from rain.
Yesterday, the sun popped through, but even more importantly it was Mothers Day, so I treated myself to a wander over near the farm with my kit. Although I didn't take take too many shots, it was enough to put a smile on my face for the rest of the day.
There's an update on my novella "Footsteps". It looks like the publisher from my last book "The Raising" will be picking up this one as well and publishing it as an Ebook this year. I will give release dates as I know. Also, I am currently writing a sequal to another one of my books - "Darkness Springs" - and I hope to have it finished by summer for a possible winter release.
We got a budgie in the new year and he is becoming more and more tame. His name is Kawaii and he's a funny little guy. He's taken to sitting on my iPad so he can watch other budgies on YouTube. I have budgie tongue smears everywhere. Ick.
I think that is about all for new stuff. A big hello to all my new watchers and my thanks to all who have favourited my work. In between writing, I'm relaxing by looking through your galleries. A talented bunch here in Devart.
