DU: Reimagining Maximus

DU Character Reimagining

My last reimagining is of Zorzathir's character Stephen Maximus.


Now I realize that Maximus comes from a world known as the "Dark Forest", but looking at him, Steve has always struck me as what I would sum up as a "Werewolf Cowboy". But the long coat that goes all the way down to his feet is a bit much, in my opinion because it looks too much like a dress.

So in my reimagining, I wanted to emphasize the cowboy look a little more. I gave him a cowboy hat and a poncho. Something that looks a little less "Vash the Stampede" and a little more "Man With No Name". I kept the original color pallet as well as the design on the coat because I feel like those are elements of Steve Maximus which make him immediately recognizable.
