New Look, Same Photographer

New Look, Same Photographer

As some of you may have noticed, I have taken up portrait photography.  This is due to two main reasons: 1) I'm taking Photography 3 at COTC and this class concentrates on...you guessed it, portrait photography. 2) I've discovered that I really enjoy it, a lot! Portrait photography is a very different medium than landscape photography and presents a whole new range of difficulties and skills to master.  Not that I would say I have mastered landscape photography yet, but it's always good to broaden our horizons.  I am extremely excited to learn the art of studio lighting (And it is an art, don't let anyone tell you different!) and the art o

Web 2.0, the Art of Interaction (Update)

Web 2.0, the Art of Interaction (Update)

On another note, school is going well.  I'm really enjoying the Digital Media Design curriculum.  It is right up my alley, and in a year or so, I'll have enough knowledge to build some pretty kick but

Master Lighting Guide for Portrait Photographers is on the photo shelf of my desk. It has been read from cover to cover. I found one that I like a lot as a supplement. Pick up Digital Portrait Photography by Steve Sint. I think you will find it is a good addition.

Good to finally meet you! :handshake:
