As someone who has struggled with depression, I am not gonna tell you it is gonna be alright . Also, everyone experiences depression differently. But this is what I did and maybe it will work for you too?
1. On bad days and you really cannot draw, look at artists or comics that make you feel warm and fuzzy. I personally prefer happy , cheerful comics that involve fantasy and adventure and have two friends. ((I like BONE and Asterix.)) I try not and read deep , dark and angsty comics because maybe some others like and feel better. But it did not work for me.
2. I draw my characters being miserable or happy. It depends on my mood. Some other artists use fanart as a way to cope. I am an original artist who either making my characters very happy makes me happy OR making their day hell but later overcoming it does the same.
3.You deserve to live. No one is ever a mistake as cheesy as it sounds.
