hey if you would all be so kind to take a quick second... (or a minute, w/e) i would LOVE it if you could tell me three or four of your favorite photos of mine. just check the gallery. there is a calendar contest at my parents hospital and i want to submit a nice picture, so id love it if you guys could help. i wouldnt be able to pick them well at all but i trust you

Goodbye 2004

yea i kinda wrote a poem here its a bit cheesy...oh well!
-as we again reach January first
we remember the times, best and the worst
-surrounded by fun, friends, and the occasional crush
this year went by in an enormous rush
-time has flown by almost too fast
and its sad to think the fun and games can't always last
-so in this winter, with not enough snow fall
I'm taking the time to look back through it all
-some will be happy, maybe others will shed a tear
as they remember each moment of this past year
-last winter we had the occasional pep rally
but most memorable were the times at Holiday Valley
-all the fun of sledding and snowball fights
but we still worried, and went through sleepless nights
-with all of the friendship, and even the hate
that time of year was certainly great
-during the spring some of our favorite things
were the graduation dance, and of course, Seven Springs!
-with our family : brother's, sister's, and parents
we still hate the chores, and running the errands
-but as the summer came around
everywhere, there was fun to be found
-this summer we had Kennywood, and fountains of Wayne
in the heat, we almost went insane
-watching movies, and going to the mall
summer '04 was amazing: we dreaded the fall
-there was also my birthday party, and Timberwolf Lake
I still look back through the pictures for old time's sake
-now in school we have all of our new friends
with so many new beginnings, but a few sad ends
-we fell in love, and had broken hearts
as my freshman year came to a start
-looking back, you may get sad
but even the bad times weren't that bad
-rock climbing Wednesdays, and an amazing Homecoming
fun at the football games, with the marching band drumming
-all the inside jokes, and worrying about our grades
the times at the library and TSA: all the escapades
-for some, times are crazy, and happenings are strange
it's amazing how just one year can make all our lives change
-our nation was at war, and far from perfection,
and the country was divided by our president's election
-some of you may still remember the cheer of 2003's end
I can't believe it's already Christmastime again
-we spend so much time just thinking of
the people we need, and the people we love
-now put on your smile and remember the cheer
that I know you experienced this past year
-so take just a moment to think and look back…
but then look ahead and get on the right track
-as soon as this year's over, a new one will arrive
we have so much to look forward to in 2005!
-with love that was deep, and times that were fun
I wish every year was amazing as this one
-and so, now I hope for many more…

^yea i guess it doesnt really all work for people that had bad years...but ok i was really bored and had a huge rhyming brainstorm lol
but my 2004 was pretty good i guess...lotsa fun times with friends! freshman year was amazing so far...going by too fast...i dont want it to end! but i know it cant always be that way so im not taking this for granted. my boyfriend luck has been at zero so far, ive gotten so close to about 4 guys then screwed over...oh well! im not gonna let that bring me down cuz im an optimist...or i try to seem like one. but it still hurts sometimes
anyway, i hope 2005 brings some good times...and more good pictures! 2004 was good for me like that...anyways, happy new year to everyone!
